Bad Painting Contest - - (Nanny Goat)
« on: July 13, 2006, 01:49:27 AM »
I still visit the bad painting contest pages regularly - why is everyone so quiet!? There seems to be no movement on the forum w.r.t. this subject.

Surely there must be other individuals that are as excited as I am...  (or perhaps not?) Respond, comment, mock.... - keep it interesting till the end!!

===

Nanny Goat - :lol: - How are you doing?  Haven't "seen" you in ages...  I LOVE hearing from you...
Are you as excited as I am?  :shock:    IT'S almost time... (and it's been great fun!!)

Have you submitted anything for next year yet?  Do you intend to?  How are your projects going? Any "new" dolls?

Any thoughts / new anecdotes?  :twisted:

===

Mikhail - when exactly will the winner be announced and how will this be done (email notification or just on the site).

perhaps so, Mikhail......  But when I open the URL "http://reverent.org", it presents a link to the bad painting contest, which opens the "http://reverent.org/bad_painting_contest.html" page.

And the only way to get to the forum from this page is to vote.......  perhaps you can add a link to the forum from this page??

Why then the number of your votes for your paintings exceed the number of your posts in the forum (since the start of the vote) by a large factor?

I found that, quite often, a person would like to look at the posts on a forum without necessarily posting anything themselves...

Mikhail - this is ridiculous - I don't think it's necessary to make such a big issue of this.... SO;
 :!:
I APOLOGISE for voting in order to view the posts on the forum - -

[I still think it will be a good idea to add a link to the forum on http://reverent.org/bad_painting_contest.html   :?:]

I was not making an issue - simply pointed out the fact.

No, it is not. If you look at the url of this page it has t=555 in it. This means that this topic is number 555. There are, however, only 51 topics in the forum. 504 topics were spam which I deleted. If I add a link from the contest page there will be even more spam.
